V. Yakushev: Imports in oil services to be replaced gradually

The dependence on the import replacement can’t be eliminated at once, the Governor of the Tyumen region, V Yakushev, said today.

V. Yakushev said that the import replacement is an extremely important goal not only for the country but for the region as well that traditionally specializes in the oil and gas service.

“We have long preferred the purchase of ready products and decisions, particularly, highly technological to the development of our own decisions. But the dependence on the imports can’t be eliminated at once and totally. The import is to be replaced selectively and gradually. Otherwise, in the case of the environment improvement, and there is such a possibility, we will easily return to the previous trap and place ourselves under threat”, the Governor said.
