2 deposits to be put into operation in accelerated mode in Yugra

​2 oil deposits will be put into operation in the accelerated mode in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area.

The acting head of the department for subsoil use in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area, A. Protasov, said that the Government of the region approved the road map by the accelerated putting into operation of the Kondinsky and West-Erginsky deposits.

The map will allow to reduce the periods of signing of various permissions, and will finally allow to develop the deposits and put them into operation much earlier than is stated in the license.

Instead of 2018 the Kondinsky deposit will be put into operation in mid 2017, the West-Eginsky – in early 2018.

The drilling of about 720 wells is planned at the deposits, the construction of about 60 km of flow lines and water passages.

According to Mr. Protasov, about 150 bln roubles will be invested into the launch of these deposits.

According to the map, the region intends to extract 6 mln tons in 2017-2020.
