The shareholders of "North Stream-2" project do not give the Ukraine and Poland a chance to scrap it.

One of the Western shareholders in the project - the Austrian company OMV - called "Nord Stream-2" promising, unlike other European projects on gas transit. And the project will be able to avoid conflicts.

"Nord Stream-2" is a realistic project, backed by the influential European investors and well-known companies which see a business case for implementation of the project to life. The "North Stream-2" project will achieve the highest level of security, because it directly connects the gas market in Europe with Russian gas fields. This opinion was expressed by Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Austrian OMV Rainer Seele. Austria's OMV is a shareholder in the project, which includes "Gazprom", E.ON, Shell, Wintershall and Engie.
