Yatsenyuk: by 2025, the Ukraine not to be dependent on Russian gas

For 10 years, the Ukraine will achieve full energy independence from Russia. Such a statement was made by the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk in an interview with the TV program "Prime Time" to the First National TV channel. According to the head of the Government, new law on rents, which provides for significant benefits for producing companies, operating in the Ukrainian territory, will allow the country to achieve this goal.

"That's why the Government submitted a new law on rents to parliament. Not a populist law that my political opponents offer to accept. But the law, which suggests: one, who produces, one, who drills for new sources, one, who increases the production of natural gas, respectively, this one gets a low rent and actual additional incentives for investment in the gas sector, "- said Yatsenyuk.
