According to the head of Naftogas, EU might sacrifice the existing transit capacities so as to cover the future demand growth.
The head of Naftogas, A. Kobolev, thinks that Russia’s construction of Nord Stream-2 will destroy the gas pumping route to the EU.
If Nord Stream-2 is constructed, the Ukrainian route will not exist anymore. The EU will sacrifice the existing pumping capacities of 151 bln cubic m in favor of new 55 bln cubic m so as to cover the future demand, Kobolev said.
