UC RUSAL: in H2 the capacity for the production of aluminium could be reduced by 0.2 million tons.

In Q2 2016 the united company "Rusal" (UC "Russian Aluminium") may decide to reduce 0.2 million tons of capacity for the production of aluminium. The company did not plan to fully close the enterprise, president of "Rusal" Oleg Deripaska told the TV channel "Russia 24".
"We have 0.2 million tons, which we are considering. Currently, in these conditions, we have enough customers which want metal, and we are unlikely to stop them (the capacities), but in Q2 we will make a decision (to reduce). ... The reduction will occur in case the market will be weaker than we expect. We just cut part of the production at the existing facilities.
