“LUKOIL” to develop “backwater district” in Yakutia

“LUKOIL” is about to start geological exploration in Yakutia. The head of the concern V.Alekperov said about it to V.Putin in his residence in Novo-Ogarevo. He has showed the place on the map.

“We have chosen a “backwater district”. It is 900 km away from the cities and communication lines. With your approval we would start detailed study in order to begin infrastructure building.
