Transneft enters the Novorossiysk port

The conflict with Summa group might go on.

The Novorossiysk sea trade port is temporarily headed by Y. Matvienko. The shareholders will elect a new CEO for the company controlled by “Summa” group and Transneft on June 18th. A representative of Transneft has already been introduced to the top-management of the port, and its first Vice-President heads the Board of the Novorossiysk sea trade port. Though “Summa” and Transneft announced of the conflict’s settlement at the port, the independent experts think it is early to speak about it. The indirect confirmation might be the claim made in March by the structure of the state company for 400 mln roubles against the Primorie trade port (in the structure of the Novorossiysk sea trade port).

Yesterday the press service of the Novorossiysk sea trade port announced the results of the Board’s meeting on Tuesday. It was decided to cease the power of the CEO, R. Antolovich, in respect of whom a criminal case had been initiated. The executive director of the port, Y. Matvienko, was appointed the temporary acting CEO. The deputy CEO of “Transneft-Service”, I. Terentiev, is appointed for his former position. The Board of the Novorossiysk sea trade port is headed by the first Vice-President of Transneft, M. Grishanin, instead of M. Shaydaev from “Summa” group.
