EU DOES NOT IMPOST ENERGY SANCTIONS AGAINST RUSSIA.

The EU has not yet introduced energy sanctions against Russia. However, the issues of the energy security will be included in the final document of the Summit of Heads of States of the European Union, which takes place in Brussels these days, informs the news agency RIA Novosti, citing the diplomatic sources in the EU.

According to the sources, on March 21 a discussion between the EU leaders should be held on the security of gas supplies through Ukraine. One of the topics for discussion can become the EU dependence on energy imports in the light of the situation in Ukraine.
