On April 16, Rosneft Board of Directors have admitted realization of the joint project with ExxonMobil Oil Corporation for exploration and development of the Northern-Kara site at the Kara Sea shelf. They reported before than Rosneft is going to start exploration drilling at the shelves of the Kara and Caspian Seas. The awaited investment of Rosneft and its partners to shelf geological exploration will be up to $14 billion at the first stage.
