Delegate L. Simanovsky has been excluded from the list of candidates to Novatek’s Board

​The Board of Directors of Novatek has reconsidered the list of candidates to the new membership of the Board for voting at the annual meeting of shareholders having excluded L. Simanovsky, delegate of the State Duma and ex-partner of Novatek’s head, L. Mikhelson.

It is impossible to include a new candidate to the list until the annual meeting which will be held on April 24th.

In March 2015 the company’s Board approved the list of candidates to the new Board which comprises for the first time 2 representatives of Total and SG, M. Borrell and R. Casten, as well as L. Simanovsky.

The former Minister of Natural Resources of Russia, V. Orlov, and head of VEB, V. Dmitriev, Yve Louis Charles Justin Darrikarer, executive Vice-President of Total SA, President of “Total razvedka i dobycha” haven’t been included in the new Board of Directors of Novatek. The rest members of the Board have been included in the list of candidates.
