Rosneft increased oil extraction by 6.8% in Uvat in Q1

​ “RN-Uvatneftegas” Ltd, affiliate of Rosneft, in Q1 2015 increased the volume of oil extraction by 6.8% against Q1 2014 to over 2.5 mln tons, the company reports.

 In Q1 2015 the priority rates of operational drilling were saved. The driftage made up 88.3 thousand m of rocks. 12 new oil wells were put into operation. The enterprise realizes the measures on the optimization of the cycle of construction of new wells, rise of equipment operation time. The extraction growth was also due to the realization of a complex of geological-technical measures at the existing wells, is reported.

In the framework of development of the Uvat project in 2013-2014, 4 new deposits were discovered – the North-Keumsky, Kirilskinsky, Rezvovsky and Tavrichesky. In 2014, 2 license sites were purchased – the Yugansky-11, -12; the oil reserves of which are assessed at 26 mln tons. Until 2020 it is planned to launch 11 deposits of the Uvat project, the first of which – Protozatonovsky -  will be put into operation in 2015.
