Russia plans to come to an agreement of gas supplies to China via western route this year

Russia hopes to complete talks on gas supplies to China via the western route (Altai gas pipeline) this year. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.

"We aim to do this ( to complete the negotiations) this year, but don’t set any specific dates," - the Deputy Prime Minister said to journalists after meeting with co-chairs of the Russian-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission on Energy Cooperation.
