Novatek starts works on construction of shipyard for 25 billion rubles in the Polar region

Novatek has started survey works under the project of construction of a shipyard for the manufacture of offshore structures for the Arctic. In particular, engineering studies for the preparation of technical documentation started on the site of the future construction, the Governor of the region Marina Kovtun today announced, presented a report on the activities of the regional government in the regional Duma.

"Novatek plans to build a unique shipyard for the manufacture of high-tech marine structures, such as floating liquefied natural gas terminals and oil rigs. Currently, the company conducts exploration works," - said the Governor.
