7.1 mln tons were extracted at Tengiz in Q1

​In Q1 2015 Tengizchevroil LLP, that develops the Tengiz and Korolevsky deposits in the Atyrau region, extracted 7.1 mln tons of crude oil or 56.7 mln barrels. The total explored reserves of the Tengiz collector make up 3 bln tons (26 bln barrels).

In 2015 Tengizchevroil exported crude oil by various routes: to Novorossiysk by the CPC pipeline, by railway to Odessa, Taman and Aktau. From Aktau oil is shipped to Batumi and Kulevi.

The recoverable oil reserves of the Tengiz and Korolevsky deposits make up 750 mln – 1.1 bln tons (6-9 bln barrels).
