Lukoil doesn’t plan to buy Rosneft’s shares

​Lukoil doesn’t plan to participate in the privatization of 19.5% of Rosneft’s shares, the President Alekperov said. Meanwhile Rosneft is quite interested in the attraction of stable Russian investors into its registered capital, including Surgutneftegas. If there is an order of the Government of Russia, Rosneft will work out this issue.

Meanwhile Surgutneftegas denies rumors of its plans to purchase Rosneft’s shares.

On May 19th the Minister of Economic Development of Russia, A. Ulyukaev, said that the Government doesn’t have new decisions on the privatization of Rosneft from the autumn 2014.
