Gas reserved at the Ukraine’s underground gas storages grew by 1 bln 33.88 mln cubic m within 2.5 months

​Gas reserved at the Ukraine’s underground gas storages grew by 11.2% or by 1 bln 33.88 mln cubic m after the termination of gas collection, Ukrtransgas reports.

According to Ukrtransgas, on June 19th 2016 gas was loaded into the underground gas storages at the rate of 17.93 mln cubic m a day.

In 2015 it was 51.93 mln cubic m a day.

From June 2016 the Ukraine loads gas from Europe at the minimal rates.

On June 19th 2016 Ukrtransgas loaded only 0.887 mln cubic m of gas from the EU:

  • From Slovakia – 0.494 mln cubic m;
  • From Hungary – 0.393 mln cubic m.

Mr. Miller warned Naftogas of its being far behind the schedule of 2015/2016 and the company needs to increase the daily loading by more than 2.5 times so as to cover the gap.
