In Q1, Sibur’s proceeds grew by 12.5%, net debt by 4.3%

In the first quarter 2016, the revenues of Sibur Holding from the sale of fuel and raw materials increased by 4.9% year on year and amounted to 47.1 billion rubles. This is evidenced by published preliminary consolidated production results.

The growth was caused by the increase in the revenues from sales of natural gas, broad fraction of light hydrocarbons and methyl-tret-butyl-ether, partially offset by the decreased revenues from the sale of LPG and naphtha. The growth in the revenues from sales of natural gas was caused by the 7.5% gas price indexation and the increase in the production after the expansion and start of Vyngapurovsky gas processing plant and launch of South-Priobsky gas processing plant. The reason for the growth in the revenues from broad fraction of light hydrocarbons sales were temporary sale of surplus volumes on the eve of the planned expansion of gas fractionation capacity in Tobolsk in 2016. The growth in the revenues from the sales of methyl-tret-butyl-ether was caused by the increase in the production after the process optimization in Togliatti.
