RAO UES Vostok increased net profit to 2.5 bln roubles in Q1 2016

On the results of Q1 2016 the net profit of RAO UES Vostok grew by 1.7 times to 2.57 bln roubles, is said in the company’s report published on June 20th.
The profit from the operational activity grew by 48% to 5.45 bln roubles.
The revenue of RAO UES Vostok rose by 9% and made up 52.76 bln roubles.
Pre-tax profit increased by 1.7 times and reached 3.2 bln roubles.
The main reason of such results the company sees in the reduction of electric energy generation at the stations with low efficiency due to the replacement by the electric energy generation from the Bureysky water power plant.
The growth of the average price of electric energy sale to retail consumers at all companies of the group rose by 8% to 4.12 roubles.
