China Peace Petroleum Group plans to purchase Lukoil’s oil refinery in Romania

China Peace Petroleum Group (China) has offered Lukoil to start negotiations on the sale of its oil refinery in Romania.

The offer was made in March 2015 and sent to Lukoil by Kajel Holdings Limited registered on the Virgin Islands (UK) and acting on behalf of China Peace Petroleum Group. The CEO of Kajel Holdings Limited, I. Epuronu, offers Lukoil to start negotiations on the sale of Petrotel which holds the oil refinery plant in Ploesti.

A representative of Lukoil confirms the offer and said that the company doesn’t plan to sell this oil refinery. A week ago the Vice-President of Lukoil, T. Muller, said about it.

Mr. Epuronu confirmed the contents of the letter and refused to comment.
