Gazprom has become PJSC

​Gazprom has completed the procedure of changing its name: it has turned from the OJSC into the Public JSC.

The change of the company’s organizational-legal form is reflected in the new edition of rules and regulations which was approved on June 26th at the annual meeting of shareholders and registered on July 17th in the stated by law form.

The change of the company’s name was held aiming for its meeting the provisions of part 4 of the Civil Code of Russia.

From September 1st 2014 the law #99-FZ as of May 5th 2014 came into force which introduced changes into the Civil Code.
