ERP supplied 565 thousand tons of cargo to the Vankor deposit instead of scheduled 482 thousand tons

The Yenisei River Shipping Lines (ERP) shipped 565 thousand tons of cargo for ZAO “Vankorneft” in 2011 instead of scheduled 482 thousand tons. As the press-service of the shipping lines states, the navigation will continue for another 3 months.

“Every day, about 2 thousand tons of cargo is delivered to the river ports for transportation to the Vankor deposit. So, the shipping river lines will be able to transport about 40 thousand tons before the end of the navigation,” they said in ERP.

The cooperation of the companies started in 2005. There were shipped 120 thousand tons in 2006. The general figure of the cargo for Vankorneft made up about 405 thousand tons in 2010.

The Yenisei River Shipping Lines, as a state-run enterprise, was created on February 5, 1931 on the base of the West-Siberian Shipping Lines, and as a joint stock company – April 14, 1994. OAO “Yenisei Shipping Lines” is a main carrier of cargo on water routes of the river basin Yenisei. The enterprise owns the most powerful dry cargo and tanker fleet. The fleet of the Yenisei Shipping Lines amounts to approximately 650 vessels of a total cargo carrying capacity of 680 thousand tons.

ERP has shipbuilding and shiprepairing enterprises, a number of other structural subdivisions, which provide full production cycle of the activity of the company. OAO “GMK “Norilsk Nickel” is a controlling shareholder of the company.

The Vankor deposit is located in the Krasnoyarsk region (recoverable resources – 524 million tons of oil and gas condensate and 106 billion cubic meters of gas).
