First supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Europe to start in late 2019

The supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Europe via the Southern Gas Corridor will begin at the end of 2019. This was reported by head of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev.
According to him, the works at all stages of the Southern Gas Corridor are ahead of schedule.
"I think that there won’t be any problems with the start of the deliveries of Azerbaijani gas in time. In the first six months of 2018, gas will be delivered to Turkey and at the end of 2019 - in Europe," - Abdullayev said at the ceremonial reception, dedicated to the Day of Oil workers in Baku.
