Oil extraction in Azerbaijan exceeded the forecast by almost 1 mln tons –Minister

​In Jan-September 2015 oil extraction in Azerbaijan made up 31 mln 409.5 thousand tons, by 967.9 thousand tons more than was forecast. The Minister of Energy, N. Aliev, said that in Jan-September 2015 SOCAR extracted 6 mln 214.6 thousand tons of oil, by 6.6 thousand tons more than was forecast.

Oil extraction from the ACG block in Jan-September 2015 made up 23 mln 533.7 thousand tons, by 871 thousand tons more than was forecast. 1 mln 661.2 thousand tons of oil were extracted from the Shakh-Deniz deposit, by 90.2 thousand tons more than was forecast.

N. Aliev said that in Jan-September 2015 the export of crude oil from Azerbaijan made up 26 mln 473.9 thousand tons, the forecast was executed by 887.1 thousand tons. Moreover, the volume of oil processing by SOCAR in Jan-September 2015 made up 4 mln 855.1 thousand tons, by 47.3 thousand tons more than was forecast.

N. Aliev also said that in Jan-September 2015 oil export from Azerbaijan by BTC made up 26.4 mln tons, 1.3 mln tons of which was the oil of SOCAR, 25.1 mln tons – oil of ht consortium.
