Within first nine months of this year the index of production of finished goods made of polymers in Russia decreased by 4.4% compared to the same period in 2014. The biggest fall in output was in the construction sector, according to MRC.
In September the decrease in the production of polymer goods slowed to 4.4% year on year, while in the first eight months the index was 5.1%. The deficit and the record level of prices of several large polymers heavily influenced the volume of polymer products production in September. Positive growth in production figures was recorded in the film industry, while the decrease in construction sector continues.
