Gazprom: Construction of South Stream in Serbia will start in several days

On November 20th the Head of Gazprom, Aleksei Miller and the Ambassador of Serbia in the RF Slavenko Terzic conducted a meeting in the offices of Gazprom.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the sphere of energy.

Special attention was paid to the preparation for construction of the South Stream sector within the territory of Serbia.

All necessary preliminary procedures have been completed and construction of the first sector will start this month.

Previously Gazprom reported, the construction of South Stream in Serbia would start by the end of 2013.
