Rosgeologiya starts to study project in the Urals, which is promising in terms of hydrocarbons

KamNIIKIGS (Perm, a part of the state holding company Rosgeologiya) has started work on evaluation of petroleum potential of pre-Devonian sediments of the north-eastern part of the Volga-Ural oil and gas province. The works are carried out in the framework of a state contract, signed in October 2014 by results of the relevant competition between the Department of Mineral Resources of the Volga Federal District and the Federal state enterprise "Lower Volga Research Institute of Geology and Geophysics" (NVNIIGG).
