Lukoil not to sell gas in Russia by itself

Lukoil isn’t going to sell gas in Russia by itself, as do Novatek or Rosneft, Vedomosti reports.

According to the edition, the company will continue to sell all its raw materials to Gazprom.

Gazprom and Lukoil prepare new agreement on strategic partnership, interlocutors of the newspaper told. The document is planned to be signed before the end of March, when the current agreement, concluded in March of 2005, will expire. These issues were discussed by the Chairman of the Gazprom’s management, Alexei Miller and the Lukoil’s President Vagit Alekperov a week ago, a representative of Gazprom reported. The term of the new document is planned to be 5-10 years, a Lukoil’s representative added.
