“Gazprom Neft Orenburg” increased hydrocarbons production by 29%

In 2014 the consolidated production of “Gazprom Neft Orenburg” made up over 3.8 mln tons of oil equivalent, by 29% more than in 2013.

The growth of hydrocarbons extraction was due to the successful drilling of new wells as well as application of the most effective methods of oil output increase. In total in 2014 the enterprise held 114 geological-technical events that provided the additional production of over 500 thousand tons of oil.

In 2014, 85 wells with the average output of 33 tons a day were constructed at the deposits of “Gazprom Neft Orenburg”. 25 wells were put into operation with the application of the multi-stage layer hydrofracturing which is the basic technology of development of deposits of “Gazprom Neft Orenburg”. In 2014 the improved method of hydrofracture (with the foundation of channels of high conductivity and split fastening with the cylinder proppant) was tested for the first time at the directional wells of the Tsarichansk and Filatovsky deposits.
