Tobolsk-Polymer sues Fortum for oer emergency shutoff

Tobolsk-Polymer, a part of Sibur, has issued an invoice to the Finnish energy Fortum to the amount of more than 370 million rubles, demanding to pay damages for an emergency power outage in April 2015. Preliminary consideration of the lawsuit is scheduled for January 27, the website of the Tyumen arbitration court reports.

Tobolsk-Polymer requires to pay damages resulting from the emergency shutdown of heat and electricity at Tobolsk thermal power plant (a part of Fortum). The accident occurred in April 2015 and, according to the plaintiff, caused significant losses.
