Gazprom Neft will suffer the most from the increased tax burden onto the oil sector

A. Kornillov and E. Malkova, Alfa Bank analysts think that Gazprom Neft will suffer the most from the increase in the tax burden into the oil sector. The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy have almost agreed about the increase in the tax burden in theto oil sector. The new suggestion proposes an increase in excise duty for high-quality petrol and export duty for fuel oil from the current 66% to 72% from 2014. Thus, the new suggestion does not propose enlargement in mineral tax that was the most important in suggestion of the Ministry of Finance.
