Europe to challenge Gazprom

Europe challenges Russian gas company Gazprom, Foreign Policy writes. They stated earlier that anti-monopoly regulator of the EU planned to accuse Gazprom of distort competition. The company is suspected in an abuse of a dominant position in the sector of natural gas supply. The source, close to the Russian company, asserted Gazprom was ready to settle the question.
As Foreign Policy writes, if the accusation is brought against Gazprom, the relation between Brussels and Moscow will worsen. The edition writes it can cause restructuring of the European energy sector and further aggravation of tension between Russia and the EU.
