The Ukraine denied the shutdown of gas imports from Hungary
On April 19th the Ukraine didn’t shut down gas import from Hungary and goes on its import from Europe by the same directions, the head of the PR department of Ukrtransgas, M. Belyavsky, said.
The absence of the import shutdown is confirmed by the data on the website of FGSZ though the data on the website of Ukrtransgas is not correct and says of its absence on April 19th.
Mr. Belyavsky said that gas is pumped to the Ukraine from Hungary at the daily rate of 4.8 mln cubic m, from Poland – 3.5 mln cubic m, from Slovakia – 2.4 mln cubic m.
The consumption in the Ukraine on April 21st made up 48 mln cubic m, gas loading into underground storages – 10.8 mln cubic m.
On the results of Q1 2016 the Ukraine imported 2.645 bln cubic m of gas, by 2.2 times less than in Q1 2015 (5.771 bln cubic m).
In 2015 the Ukraine imported 16.478 bln cubic m of gas for $4.512 bln, including from Europe – 10.34 bln cubic m for $2.836 bln, from Russia – 6.138 bln cubic m for $1.677 bln.
