The Ukraine significantly reduced oil extraction but slightly increased gas extraction in Q1 2016
Oil extraction in the Ukraine in Q1 2016 fell by 12.3% and made up 412 thousand tons against Q1 2015.
In March 21st 2016 oil extraction in the Ukraine rose by 4.6% against February 2016 to 140 thousand tons.
Oil extraction fell by 13.9% against March 2015.
In 2015 oil extraction in the Ukraine fell by 11.8% against 2014 and made up 1.801 mln tons.
The volumes of oil extracted in the Ukraine are not enough to load at least a quarter of the capacity of the only functioning oil refinery plant in Kremenchug.
The lack of the country’s oil made the Ukraine import oil from Kazakhstan for the additional loading of the Shebelinsky gas processing plant where about 3.4 thousand tons of processing capacities are shut down.
