Ukraine reduces production of steel

In April Ukraine ranked the tenth largest producer of steel in the world.

Ukrainian businessmen reduce production and export of steel, Worldsteel reports.

In April 2013 Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises produced 2.748 million tons of steel – by 8.4% less than in April 2012. This is the largest annual slump among the top ten countries. By March 2013 the slump made up 4.1%. In 2012 April results became the record compared to other months (3 million tons).
