Ministry of Oil of Iran focuses on gas export

​One of the priorities of the Ministry of Oil of Iran with the cancellation of sanctions will be gas export which will help to create good relationships with the countries that buy Iranian gas, a member of the energy committee of the Islamic Council, D. Dzhafari, said.

According to him, gas export is an important part of the strategy directed on the development of the country and providing its national safety. Thus the Ministry of Oil of Iran should focus on gas export.

D. Dzhafari said that now Iran is the chairman in the Forum of counties – gas exporters. It gives it an opportunity to realize its program on the development of gas export more successfully and increases its role as a country providing the energy safety of countries-gas consumers.
