VEB to help A. Usmanov to produce copper on the account of NWF of Russia

VEB plans to become not only the main source of financing but also a participant of the project of the development of the Udocan copper deposit.
Using the funds of the NWF, the corporation might enter the capital of the Baikal Mining Company that realizes the project (BMC, in the structure of Metalloinvest). 11 bln roubles are needed to additionally work out the project to reach the investment stage, BMC is ready to invest a part of the necessary amount.
VEB is to settle the issue of receiving a stake in VEB until September when its Supervision Committee will consider the issue of funds for the 1sta stage of Udocan.
