Rosneftegas to invest 60 bln roubles in “Zvezda” shipyard

​Rosneftegas OJSC will invest 60 bln roubles into “Modern shipbuilding technologies” CJSC (a JV of Rosneft and Gazprombank) aiming for financing of the construction of “Zvezda” shipbuilding complex, is said in the list of orders of President Putin.

The order was given on the results of the Vladivostok economic forum held in early September.

Rosneft’s head, I. Sechin, is responsible for the execution of the order.

At the forum in Vladivostok Mr. Putin said that he had made a decision on the allocation of 60 bln roubles from Rosneftegas aiming for the acceleration of the modernization of the Far Eastern shipbuilding complex “Zvezda”.

The JV of Rosneft and Gazprombank holds 75% minus 2 shares in the Far Eastern shipbuilding complex (“Zvezda” is the main asset).
