Tyre plant of Continental in Kaluga reduces production plan

The Company plans to reach full capacity one year later than it was planned.
The enterprise with the capacity of 4 million tons of tire production a year and valued at EUR 240 million was built in 2013. It planned to reach full production capacity in 2016. But due to decrease in sales in Russia, the company adjusted plans and postponed them to the end of 2017, the press-service of OOO “Continental Kaluga” stated. They are about to produce 2 million tires in 2015, it is twice more than in 2014, and 2.2 million in 2016, the press-service stated.
