“Power of Siberia” and “South Stream” made Gazprom to increase its investment program

Gazprom has increased by almost ¼ its investment program for 2014. The company’s expenditure will rise by 220.1 bln roubles to exceed 1 trln roubles.

The larger part of the amount will be the capital investment and expenditure for capital construction. The construction of the “Bovanenkovo-Ukhta”, “Southern Corridor” and “Power of Siberia” gas pipelines refer to the priority projects. The development of the Urengoi, Yamburg, Astrakhan, Kirinsky and Orenburg deposits will require the additional financing. A part of funds will go overseas – to support the South Stream project and works in Vietnam and Bolivia.
