The undistributed fund of hydrocarbons by ABC1+C2 is 1.009 billion tons of oil and 3.8 trillion cubic m of gas now sharing 5.5% in the total reserves, the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology S. Donskoy says.
He states that 80% of growth in reserves are not new discoveries but additional exploration at the developed mines. Without new discoveries, 10% of large and unique mines gaining 85% of oil gas now will exhaust. The Russian subsoil bears immense hydrocarbons resources, and their development needs introduction of innovation technologies.
