Provision of Tatneft’s production plan in 2016 to be connected with drilling and launch of new wells

Provision of Tatneft’s production plan in 2016 will be connected with drilling and launch of new wells. This was announced at a regular meeting of the company’s Board of Directors, chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

At the meeting the Tatneft’s budget execution in the first nine months of 2015 was considered, and financial plan for November this year was approved. Information about plans for oil production and geological and technical measures in 2016 was heard. The expected production of Tatneft in 2015 is 26.707 million tons, including 378.1 thousand tons from the Ashalchinskoye field. The bulk of the geological and technical measures to ensure the plan of the oil production in 2016 will be related to the drilling and launch of new wells. For the production of high-viscosity oil it is planned to drill 400 horizontal wells. In 2016, the amount of fracturing will be increase and the recovery of old wells by sidetracking and horizontal sidetracks will be continued.
