Ukrgasdobycha has been issued 4 special permissions for extraction in the Dnepropetrovsk region

The regional Council of Dnepropetrovsk on October 21st approved the issue of special permissions for subsoil use to Ukrgasdobycha PJSC for 4 sites in the Dnepropetrovsk region: the Popasnyansko-Samarinsky, Shevsky sites, Musiensivsky deposits and the expansion of borders of the Perepeschinsky deposit.

Ukrgasdobycha, after the final approval at the State Service for geology and subsoil, and on the conditions of issue of special permissions, will be able to increase its resource base for the drilling of new wells, and that in its turn will allow to increase the extraction of hydrocarbons in the region by 25-35 mln cubic m a year and found additional work places.

In the past years Ukrgasdobycha was hardly issued such permissions – in 2007-2013 it was issued only 4 permissions.

Soon Ukrgasdobycha plans to invest up to 1 bln grivnas into the geological exploration and development of these sites. The plan of perspective development presupposes seismic explorations, drilling of exploratory and operational wells, construction of complex gas preparation units, expansion of gas communications and their branches and foundation of about 100 work places.

An agreement on Ukrgasdobycha’s participation in the development of social infrastructure of the Dnepropetrovsk region has been reached.
