“Gazpromneft-Khantos” achieves a record in the launch of horizontal wells in 2014

“Gazpromneft-Khantos” increased production volume by 250 thousand tons of oil equivalent in 2014 at the expense of launch of 36 horizontal wells. The quantity is record high in the history of the enterprise.
The longest horizontal well with a total length of 4406 meters and 760 meters of its horizontal part has been built at the Yuzhno-Priobskoye deposit. New oil influx rate intensification technologies have been tested on the well. There has been carried out multi-zone cluster hydrofracturing. It makes it possible to reduce the number of propping agent by 45% and increase the well rate by more than 15%.
