The Ukraine plans to cover up to 60% of its needs in the imported gas in 2015 by the supplies from Europe. The rest volumes are planned to be imported from Russia.
The head of Naftogas, A. Kobolev, said yesterday to Reuters.
Mr. Kobolev states that within a few years Kiev might reduce the volume of the Russian gas purchase to 1/3 of the gas volumes imported by the Ukraine.
According to him, the opportunities of gas supply from Europe within the past months have expanded at such a rate that in theory it can cover up to 90% of the country’s needs in imports.
