In 2014, Lukoil increased investments in Uzbekistan by almost a third

In 2014, Lukoil increased investments in projects in Uzbekistan by 28% in comparison with 2013 to $838 million, the company reports.

"The amount of capital expenditures for geological exploration and production in Uzbekistan increased from $657 million in 2013 to $838 million," – the company stated. The company reported that it reduced the gas production in Uzbekistan, but didn’t specify rates. Previously, Lukoil Overseas (the operator of Lukoil’s foreign projects) reported that the volume of gas produced in Uzbekistan in 2014 was 4 billion cubic meters, liquid hydrocarbons - more than 100 thousand tons.
