OMV to discuss details of the deal on the exchange of assets with Gazprom

​The CEO of OMV, P. Zele, and the Minister of Finance of Austria,  G. Shelling, on April 1st 2016 will visit Saint-Petersburg and hold a working meeting with the representatives of Gazprom.

The companies plan to go on the discussion of the deal on the exchange of assets.

In June 2015 Gazprom and OMV signed a memorandum of understanding referring the perspectives of participation of OMV in the development of the Achimov layers of the Urengoi oil and gas condensate deposit.

In October 2015 A. Miller said that Gazprom and OMV will agree the list of assets for the exchange within a year.

A year later the list wasn’t approved.

In case of approval of the deal by all participants, OMV is likely to have 24.98% in the project on the development of sites 4A and 5A of the Achimov layers of the Urengoi deposit.

OMV offered 3 assets in its affiliates in exchange to Gazprom.
