Steinmeier wants to quickly resolve the "difficult political questions" with the European Commission on Nord Stream-2

Germany has insisted on the construction of another gas pipeline from Gazprom, which was called "geopolitical threat" by ten EU countries, sharply opposing this project.

Germany is actively involved in discussions with the European Commission under the Nord Stream-2 project, the head of the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier reported, in order to solve not only complicated legal, but also political issues.
