SOCAR to intend to attract major investment within its largest projects

The implementation of four large energy projects of SOCAR, started in 2013, will require $33-35 billion, 67% of which will be funds raiseds, the company’s Vice President of Economic Issues Suleiman Gasymov said in interview to the Reuters.

As Gasymov noted, from 2013 SOCAR started the implementation of four projects to the total amount of $33-35 billion: the construction of a refinery in Turkey in the value of $5 billion, the creation of a new complex for oil and gas processing and petrochemical production output (OGPC) in the value of $17 billion, the project of the Trans Anadolu pipeline (TANAP) in the value of $8 billion and the construction of new drilling rigs in the value of $4 billion.
