On Thursday, Rosneft and PDVSA to sign documents on creation of a joint venture and new shelf areas

The Rosneft’s Head Igor Sechin plans to sign a number of documents with Venezuelan PDVSA during his two-day visit to Venezuela that started on Wednesday. The Top-Manager said to journalists that it is a question of foundation documents on creation of the joint venture PetroVictoria for development of the Karabobo-2 deposit and confidentiality agreement for approach to geological information on Venezuelan shelf.

On Wednesday, the Russian delegation, headed by the Rosneft’s President Igor Sechin, started to work in Venezuela, the oil company’s Information Department reported that day. In particular, it was noted that a wide range of questions on development of trade and economic cooperation between the countries would be discussed during the negotiation with President Nicolas Maduro and Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez.
